'Breakfast Club' Star dies of Mesothelioma
Paul Gleason died over the weekend on Saturday. Gleason died of mesothelioma, a form of lung cancer associated with asbestos poisoning.
Gleason worked in a number of movies from Johnny Be Good, to Die Hard and the Breakfast Club in which he played a notorious principle. He also made appearances on Seinfeld and Friends in recent years.
Gleason was not just an actor. He played minor league baseball in the late 1950's. He was also a published poet, a father of two daughters and one granddaughter.
Gleason a resident of Miami passed away .
