Foley Revelations
The story about Republican Mark Foley has been fueled by the following new revelations:

- The ex-congressman has admitted that he is gay.
- He has stated that he was abused by a clergyman when he was a teenager between the ages of 13 and 15.
- He is a recently admitted alcoholic seaking treatment.
- He claims he sent the emails and messages to the under age youth while he was drunk.
- He claims he was sober when he was working on the floor and voting.
- Some of the messages he sent were sent from the floor while he was voting.
- His lawyer cannot resolve the paradox of being drunk and not being drunk while voting and sending messages to a minor
- His name cannot be removed from the November 7th ballot in Florida
- Representative Joe Negron has been selected by the state Republican Party to follow in the foot steps of the Foley on capital hill
- Speaker Hastert will not currently step down amid allegations that he new of Foley's acts with Congressional Pages under the age of 18 and did nothing to stop it or investigate the claims or protect the minors
- President Bush states that he is disgusted by Foley's Actions
- The Ethics Committee will hold its first meeting on Foley's actions this Thursday
