Huckabee Proves to be Political Moron
I believe we witnessed a political melt down this week in South Carolina as Mike Huckabee referenced his experiences eating squirrels cooked in pop corn poppers and later told South Carolina voters that they were a lot like people from Arkansas. They were supposedly a lot like people from Arkansas that would tell outsiders to stick a flag up their rear end if bossed around by outsiders.
That was the message Huckabee was trying to force on South Carolina in a pandering way and it contributed to his loss in South Carolina but will almost definitely cost him any possible chance at any place on the Republican ticket. It just is not Presidential to tell people where to stick it.
Mike Huckabee lost the South Carolina primary this evening after making moronic remarks about the Confederate flag.
Huckabee ~ You don’t like people from outside the state coming in and telling you what to do with your flag . . .
In fact, if somebody came to Arkansas and told us what to do with our flag, we’d tell ‘em what to do with the pole…
Comments like that will not get you far in Republican Presidential politics. It won't get you far in Christian Conservative politics and won't even get you far as a preacher. Huckabee will be doing good to get a job selling raymond weil watches on a street corner after this election.
Howard Dean had a goofy crazy yell. John Kerry got swift boated, and McCain got Bush Whacked (in SC too) and now Huckabee shucked himself right of the election.
