Its Good to Be the Mayor of New York, If you have a . . .
Pretty Thing on the Side, City Expense Accounts Plus New York's Finest watching Your Back
Rudy Giuliani is again facing criticism about his former extra marital affairs with his current fourth wife. This time however the criticism is not about the affair itself, but whether or not parts of the affair were financed with City Tax dollars.
There are three problems with this situation that are being bandied about:
- New York's Finest escorted Giuliani everywhere as part of his security detail and that cost tax payer money. Giuliani had an affair while under their watch, so the tax payers paid to keep Giuliani safe while having an affair, and they paid for Giuliani to travel out of his way to have that affair.
- The budget money to pay for the security detail was nabbed from various unrelated city budget line items like a department focused on people with disabilities (not infidelity disabilities but the type that make moving around and doing things more difficult).
- Rudy is campaigning as a conservative Republican that is the antidote to everything Hillary and everything Clinton and that would normally include Extra marital relations with that other woman. (At least Bill kept it in the White House where additional expenses were not initially born out by the tax payers~sure later on when the investigations took place money was spent, but Bill didn't that we know of take his intern hotties to Camp David or Pigeon Forge cabin rentals and bill it to the EPA.)
The Politico said American Express bills and travel documents it obtained detail hotel, gas and other travel expenses for Giuliani's New York Police Department security detail during 11 trips over three summers of visits to Southampton, the Long Island town where Nathan had a condominium. The Associated Press
So it would seem that Conservative Republicans are now faced with a moral quagmire in one of their leading nominees.
Should a President in office have an affair in the White House on the cheap?
or
Should a President have his affair outside of the White House but finance the security with American Tax Dollars?
Asking a Republican or a Democratic politician to keep their sexual urges under control is probably too much to ask.
We are talking about politicians after all!
